Bark at the Moon was a bittersweet album for Ozzy Osbourne. Recorded shortly after the death of close friend and guitarist Randy Rhoads, the LP was Ozzy’s first solo outing with new axman Jake E. Lee, and while it doesn’t have quite the same guitar magic heard on Diary of a Madman, the record was a commercial smash, largely thanks to its ridiculous — and ridiculously fun — title-track. After 40 years, it’s finally available on vinyl again. Put it on your shelf.
