Formed in 1999, the band consists of lead vocalist Tim McIlrath, guitarist Zach Blair, bassist Joe Principe, and drummer Brandon Barnes. With their politically charged lyrics and high-energy performances, Rise Against have become a staple of the punk rock scene.
