After being kicked out of Metallica a couple years prior, Dave Mustaine ripped out a raw and enraged first chapter with his newly-formed Megadeth. With a chip on his shoulder, he reclaimed some of his ‘Tallica riffs (“Mechanix”), and dialed the intensity to 11 with nuclear-powered beats, carpet-bombing guitar solos and his uniquely sinewy growl. A head-rattling Eighties essential now pressed on Opaque Silver vinyl, and repackaged with its original skull-emblazoned artwork.
