Description
After proving they were the hottest band in the land with their mega-selling Alive! concert LP, Kiss hit the studio with Alice Cooper producer Bob Ezrin to craft their most ambitious album experience yet. Released in 1976, Destroyer is mountain-leveling massive in scope and sound. It has some of Kiss’ biggest songs ever — from their fan-tributing “Detroit Rock City” to balladic juggernaut “Beth” — but likewise sports marvelously weird deep cuts like the symphonic pomp of Gene Simmons’ children’s choir-assisted “Great Expectations.”
