Two EP’s are better than one. Especially Minor Threat’s first two releases, which still sit snugly at the tippy top of hardcore’s canon. These are the songs that made the Ramones sound like old-timey waltzers, setting off a worldwide movement propelled by uncompromising speed and ferocity. All these years later, tracks like “Straight Edge,” “Seeing Red” and the band’s eponymous anthem all continue to inspire generations of hardcore bands by setting a bar that's always unattainable, but nevertheless feels within reach.

This 12" EP (on 45 rpm silver vinyl) was recut from the Silver Sonya re-masters in November 2008 at Chicago Mastering Service.

Tracks 1-8 are from the first Minor Threat 7". Tracks 9-12 are from the "In My Eyes" 7 Inch. The Digital version of this record includes the song "Stand Up," from the Flex Your Head compilation.
