Turnstile are multiple Grammy winners. The hardcore leaders took home heavy hardware at the 68th annual Grammy Awards, claiming the golden gramophones for Best Rock Album and Best Metal Performance, for their acclaimed 2025 LP, NEVER ENOUGH, and the single “BIRDS,” respectively.
The Baltimore breakouts topped Deftones, HAIM, Linkin Park and Yungblud in the Best Rock Album category, and Dream Theater, Ghost, Sleep Token and Spiritbox in the Best Metal Performance category.
Accepting the former award, the band’s Brendan Yates said poignantly: “The community we found through punk and hardcore music has given us a space place to swing in the dark and land somewhere beautiful.” On behalf of Turnstile, he thanked their family, friends, partners, peers and hometown.
As for other notable rock categories, Nine Inch Nails won Best Rock Song for their Tron: Ares soundtrack single “As Alive As You Need Me to Be,” while Yungblud took Best Rock Performance honors for his live cover of Black Sabbath’s “Changes,” from the Back to the Beginning show, also featuring guitarist Nino Bettencourt, Anthrax bassist Frank Bello, keyboardist Adam Wakeman and Sleep Token drummer II.
