Here at Revolver, we’re always on the hunt for new songs to bang our heads to — indeed, it’s a big part of our jobs. With that in mind, here are the tracks released this week in alt-gaze, deathcore, hardcore and more that have been on heavy rotation at Revolver HQ.

Blood & Tears – “The Hurt Continues”
Featuring members of Fury, Knocked Loose and more, Blood & Tears’ new Brotherhood finds a group of heavy veterans uniting to deliver one of the finest, fiercest and full-on furious releases of 2026 so far.
While one of them’s wearing a Youth of Today shirt on the cover art, and their demo title gives late-Eighties Pacific Northwest straight edge, Blood & Tears are demonstrating their style through a more Madball-esque East Coast brawn.
“The Hurt Continues” kicks off the four-song, 10-minute smackdown with deftly hammering beats and an ultra-phlegmy mic check. Its lyrics take stock of the emotional and physical scars life gives us — and while the pain never ceases, you can sometimes funnel it towards a positive, powerful path ahead.
Bodysnatcher – “The Maker”
Bodysnatcher are back — are you ready to meet their “Maker”?
The deathcore deviants are raising holy hell on their latest single, cannon-blasting out the gates before gearing down into a grotesquely noisy, vengeful and violent backend break.
Vocalist Kyle Medina is red-eyed and righteously rage-filled while calling out the abuses of power performed by “vile creatures roaming free,” and then he calls for a “return to primitive savagery” to deal with the perpetrators (“Are you scared? You fucking should be!”).
dream fatigue – “spun”
dream fatigue put us in a daze earlier this month with the Hum-core heavenliness of their “be your anchor,” and now we’re spinning out over the heavy shoegaze serenity of their latest track, “spun.”
Jonali McFadden’s floating vocal is reasonably chill during the wavy, emo-adjacent front-half of the track, but soars through the “symbols in the static” once the beat gets heavier and the distortion gets louder. Former Fleshwater drum batterer Matt Wood flips the beat with a dramatic decelerando before it all closes with a piano-spiraling finale.
ERRA – “further eden”
ERRA swam through the static of a million song drops this week to show us this slice of their paradise.
The pop-forward metalcore practitioners push a lot of melody into a lean, elastic groove. There’s a bit of a meta bent to the piece (“the notes all ring chromatic”), while J.T. Cavey and guitarist Jesse Cash trade sung-and-screamed exclamations about grounding oneself amid a face-paced, ever-chaotic world.
Like them — or perhaps because of them — we’ve managed to find some peace through the general panic.
Motionless in White – “Afraid of the Dark”
We’re paraphrasing Motionless in White’s new single a bit, but vocalist and bandleader Chris Motionless has given his life to his art, and he’s suffered and sacrificed along the way. That said, MIW’s music is ultimately a form of communal catharsis for the long-running act, and as he screams in the blistering first verse of “Afraid of the Dark,” as soon as they hit the stage, they’re able to “siphon all the power from the pain.”
Texturally, Motionless in White’s latest cut is explained to be time-collapsing the band’s “past, present and future,” and comes replete with wickedly thrashing beats, metalcore-monstrous riffs and a vibrant, healing chorus hook. It’s an illuminating look at what’s to come from the veteran unit.
sace6 – “ego”
Right about the time sace6 vocalist Sace started spin-kicking to the opalescent intro groove of the rising alt-metal outfit’s new “ego” single — their first formal release through Sumerian Records — we realized we were going to be spinning this one 24/7.
The project’s latest cross-pollinational cut is all kinds of gorgeous — from its cavernous R&B beats, to its soul-shattering sad-metal hooks and sci-fi string effects, to the cooed-and-chaotic vocal dynamic Sace holds with co-founder and guitarist Noah Thomas.
Don’t question the obsession, just let yourself feel.
