Last night (August 12th), Slipknot took their “Here Comes the Pain” tour — celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Nine’s landmark self-titled album — through New York City, tearing through a sold-out show at the most famous arena in the world, Madison Square Garden.
Swedish metal rising stars Orbit Culture opened the show, while Kentucky hardcore mosh-lords Knocked Loose played in direct support. The latter ripped through a breakdown-packed 24-song set that had the crowd going ape-shit.
The headliners took ape-shit next level. The ‘Knot — decked out in throwback red jumpsuits — delivered 14 of their own songs, none of which were written before 1999. They opened with “(sic)” and closed with “Scissors,” throwing in plenty of fan favorites and deep cuts in between.
Photographer The Tinfoil Biter was there to catch Knocked Loose and Slipknot in action. See some of her standout shots below.
