Sick New World is back.
Following its 2025 layover, the heavy-music festival is now set to return in 2026 as two one-day events: the first on April 25th in Las Vegas, and the second on October 24th in Fort Worth, Texas.
News of the two events is linked to the appearance of billboards across Las Vegas, which (per The Rock Revival) sport the Sick New World logo and the date info. Now, the official Sick New World website has confirmed the fest’s 2026 return, as well as launching mailing lists for updates on the Las Vegas and Fort Worth editions.
Thus far, no venue or lineup details have been provided. That said, a recent signing event with System Of A Down’s Serj Tankian found the frontman noting that Sick New World would indeed be staged next year, and System’s summer shows across North America flashed the Sick New World mascots across the screens during the concert.
As previously reported, this year’s edition of Sick New World, which had been scheduled to take place last April, was canceled in late 2024. It would have featured co-headlining sets from Metallica and Linkin Park, as well as performances from Queens of the Stone Age, Evanescence, Gojira, AFI, Daron Malakian and Scars on Broadway, Meshuggah, Cradle of Filth, Carcass, Acid Bath, Kittie, Cannibal Corpse, Testament, Exodus and many more.
As of press time, it’s unknown whether any of these bands will sign on for Sick New World 2026. Stay tuned.
