Showing Teeth has bared another monster track, and this time the rising metalcore extremist is coupling her “Bad Exchanges” with news that a debut EP is on the way, as well.
The new song hit streamers today (July 24th), and it unfolds as a series of noise-tastic riff swerves, ground-unsettling gravity blasts, deliciously disjointed sound effects and, of course, the ultra-violent screams and squeals of project leader and vocalist Addison (“Why can’t I just be happy? This feeling always ends.”).
“Bad Exchanges” is pegged to be the leadoff track on Showing Teeth’s forthcoming A FATE WORSE THAN LONELINESS EP, which will be her first release through Republic Records / Spinefarm. The 7-song EP also features previously-delivered tracks “Rip” and “Labyrinth.”
As previously reported, Showing Teeth will be the opening act on PRESIDENT’s upcoming North American tour, which begins September 4th at the Brooklyn Bowl in Nashville, Tennessee. Notably, this is the same day Showing Teeth release A FATE WORSE THAN LONELINESS in full.
