Fresh off their debut single, May’s “In the Name of the Father,” mysterious masked band PRESIDENT have offered up a second song, “Fearless,” which follows in the crunchy, anthemic, autotuned direction of their first.
Maybe more intriguingly, the new cut’s accompanying music video culminates in the group’s frontman removing his mask in a big reveal that some fans say must be “a fakeout.” Watch and listen above.
PRESIDENT raised eyebrows earlier this year when the band was booked for a prominent slot at this summer’s Download Festival, June 15th on the Dogtooth stage, leading to wild speculation of a possible connection to Sleep Token (who are headlining the event), among other theories. In addition to their Download performance, the band has since announced their debut headlining show, July 30th at The Garage in London.
