Nu-veterans Drowning Pool hit the floor of New York’s Rockefeller Center last night (September 8th) for a collaborative performance alongside rappers Offset, J.I.D. and producer BNYX. Together, they hit Offset’s new “Bodies” single for The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
The performance of Offset’s single — which is found on his new KIARI album and is indeed based upon Drowning Pool’s signature Sinners song of the same name — first found the band grooving into some eerily chromatic melodies, as vocalist Ryan McCombs sat in a chair. Offset strolls in, sits down and delivers bars, while McCombs slowly adds a whispery refrain of “Let the bodies hit the floor.”
Drowning Pool increases the heat with scale-crawling verse accents, a familiarly metallic chorus and a late-game breakdown. J.I.D. hops on stage with toe-tagging raps, and starts slapping the floor by song’s end. BNYX is hitting some production touches in the background.

As previously reported, Drowning Pool’s “Bodies” also got love on a broadcast television earlier this year when American Idol judge Carrie Underwood and contestant INSITE sang the song together during his audition.
A press release delivered this morning adds that Drowning Pool are currently in the studio creating an EP set for release in 2026 through SBG Records.
