See COREY TAYLOR cover CHAPPELL ROAN’s “Pink Pony Club”

It’s official: Corey Taylor’s been having fun in the “Pink Pony Club.” During an acoustic solo performance at last weekend’s SPOOKALA horror and pop culture convention, the Slipknot vocalist surprised the room with his stripped-down take of pop-world dominator Chappell Roan’s signature dance anthem, “Pink Pony Club.”

The performance took place this past Saturday (April 5th) at Tampa, Florida’s Expo Hall, where Taylor also performed solo acoustic versions of songs by Slipknot (“Spit It Out,” “Snuff”) and Stone Sour (“Taciturn,” “Bother”), as well as covers of songs from Violent Femmes, Nine Inch Nails, Foo Fighters and more.

Taylor hit an abridged version of Roan’s 2020 single. That means that he did hit the part in the first verse about having “crazy visions” of being in L.A. — something presumably, one can’t do without possessing a set of Marlon Brando eyes.

You’ll find Taylor crooning about that special Pink Pony place via the fan-shot footage up above and down below.
