Ever wonder what it’d be like to swallow a whole dang meal prepared by Bush vocalist-guitarist Gavin Rossdale? Well, you’re in luck, for the UK alt-rock icon has just dropped a new trailer for his upcoming cooking show, the aptly-titled Dinner with Gavin Rossdale.
The rocker revealed that his new culinary talk show, which premieres February 13th via Vizio, has him hosting a number of celebrities at his Los Angeles home to sit down over a meal and talk about their lives, their careers “and everything in between.”
The confirmed guest list thus far includes tennis star Serena Williams, rapper/actor Common, actress Selma Blair, author and actress Brooke Shields, Sir Tom Jones and actor Jack McBrayer.
“I had a very simple idea about a TV show where I cook dinner for an inspiring guest,” Rossdale summed up in a statement. “We get to see these amazing people up close and no one held back. It’s magic to sit and eat with Sir Tom Jones or Serena Williams. I’m so grateful to all my guests.”
A trailer for the show finds Rossdale shaving carrots, searing meats and serving wine to his dinner guests. There’s likewise a clip of he and Williams performing an acoustic duet of Bush’s Sixteen Stone single “Comedown,” as well as a tease of he and Jones hitting the latter’s “It’s Not Unusual.”
Will each show have a musical segment? Will each of his guests weigh sixteen stone by the end of their respective episodes? You’ll have to find out for yourself when the show premieres next month through Vizio’s WatchFree+ platform.
While Bush’s last album was 2022’s The Art of Survival, the band toured behind the 30th anniversary of debut album Sixteen Stone last year. You can pick up a deluxe, double-vinyl pressing of the latter in Revolver’s shop.
