While North American Bring Me the Horizon fans have another couple of months to go before the veteran metalcore expanders begin the next leg of their “Ascension Program” tour, the band have unveiled a preview of what they can expect live, via a trailer for a new concert film they captured in Brazil.
Dubbed Bring Me The Horizon: L.I.V.E. in São Paulo (Live Immersive Virtual Experiment), the concert flick is set to hit theatres worldwide for a two-night run. Described in press matertials as “a groundbreaking cinema event” that chronicles BTMH’s biggest ever headline show, it’s set to be screened in theatres March 25th and 28th.
Filmmakers captured BMTH live at São Paulo, Brazil’s Allianz Parque Stadium in late 2024, while the band were traveling the world in support of that year’s POST HUMAN: NeX GeN LP. The stadium show reportedly found the band performing to a sold-out crowd of 50,000 fans, with the setlist hitting then-new tunes like POST HUMAN’s “AmEN!,” “Kool-Aid” and “LosT,” as well as older cuts from the Sempiternal and That’s the Spirt albums.
The film is said to be blending multi-cam live footage with drone shots, “raw fan perspectives” and cameos from BMTH characters. E.V.E, Selene and M8. Co-directed between CiRCUS HEaD and the band,L.I.V.E. is further noted to be “a dynamic, multi-angle journey that mirrors the scale and intensity of the night itself.”

Additionally, BMTH have confirmed that they will also be issuing the concert on CD and LP as the forthcoming L.I.V.E. IN SÃO PAULO album on April 10th.
As previously reported, Bring Me the Horizon launch their North American leg of the “Ascension Program” at Toronto, Ontario’s Scotiabank Arena on April 28th. The tour finds them joined by opening acts Motionless in White, Amira Elfeky and the Plot in You. You’ll find a fuller date breakdown here.
