North America are about to get another look at Opeth’s The Last Will and Testament in 2026 — as the progressive death-metal greats have announced a winter tour supporting their latest, and super growl-intensified LP.
The band’s second North American jaunt behind the 2024 effort was announced today (September 23rd), with Opeth confirming they’ll be back on the continent by early February.
The trek begins at Montclair, New Jersey’s Wellmont Theater on February 5th, and continues along the East Coast for a few dates before heading out west. The tour concludes with a lone Canadian appearance at Vancouver, British Columbia’s Dough Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre on February 25th.
Opening on all dates will be fellow Swedish gloom vets Katatonia, for whom Opeth guitarist-vocalist Mikael Åkerfeldt sang for in the Nineties. Perhaps there’ll be some on-stage collabs.
Pre-sales for all dates went live today, while general ticket sales go up this Friday (September 26th), while the North American tour route is down below. More ticketing info and Opeth’s fall European schedule can be found here,
