Get ready for a collaborative album from a brand new NIN: Nine Inch Noize.
Nine Inch Nails and German producer Boys Noize have been collaborating on-stage over the past year as part of the “Peel It Back Tour”, and they’re teaming up again this weekend for a performance at Coachella Valley Arts & Music Festival. And today (April 8th), they announced that they’ve also joined forces for an album release later this month.
Both parties confirmed over socials that Nine Inch Noize’s debut release will be issued April 17th. Details have yet to be revealed in full, but the collection will be catalogued as “HALO 38” in Trent Reznor’s broader discography.
Earlier this year, Boys Noize delivered remixes of NIN’s TRON:Ares pieces “A QUESTION OF TRUST,” “GHOST IN THE MACHINE” and “WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?”
Nine Inch Noize are set to headline the electronic-geared Sahara Tent for both weekends of Coachella, hitting the stage on April 10th and 17th, respectively, so we may well hear some previews from the upcoming release this Friday.
If you can’t make it to the Valley, Coachella will once again be livestreaming on YouTube.
