Puscifer have been out on the road for the past few weeks supporting the epic and goth-coded rumble of the band’s new Normal Isn’t album, and they rolled through New York City’s Terminal 5 venue last night (April 7th) to send an ecstatic shiver through their fans’ spines.
The performance was heavy on newer tunes, with vocalists Maynard James Keenan and Carina Round stalking the stage for moody run-throughs of Normal Isn’t standouts like “Self Evident,” “ImpetuoUs” and “A Public Stoning” — the latter of which closing the night, and featuring a guest spot from comedian/musician Dave Hill (who had also performed a set of his own earlier in the evening).
That said, the 18-song set also provided plenty of fan-favorite money-shots from across the Pusciverse, including “The Grand Canyon,” V is for Vagina’s “Momma Sed” and more.
