One week on from the release of Motionless in White’s illuminating “Afraid of the Dark” single, the metalcore veterans have shone light on a new set of headlining dates that’ll have them touring North America this summer with Lorna Shore, Fit for a King and Static Dress.
The newly announced headline dates were unveiled earlier today (February 3rd), just a couple of days ahead of MIW’s big European trek with Dayseeker. The group’s month-long, summer-set “The Sweat and Blood Tour” begins July 14th at Bridgeport, Connecticut’s Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater and concludes August 15th at the Lottery Theatre in Sterling Heights.
The trip makes MIW’s first headlining tour of North America in over three years, and the group are hyped.
“We are absolutely shooting for the moon to celebrate our return,” Motionless in White expressed in a joint statement. “We could not be more excited to visit our American fans who have been incredibly patient with us, and can’t wait to give them the first performances of new material from our upcoming album. See you this summer!”
Pre-sales begin today at 2 p.m. ET, while general on-sales begin at 10 a.m. local on Friday (February 6th).
As previously reported, MIW will be hitting U.S. arenas this May as part of Bring Me the Horizon’s “Ascension Program” tour, which likewise features opening sets from Amira Elfeky and the Plot in You.
A due date or further details on Motionless in White’s next album have yet to be laid out in full, but the impending LP will be the act’s first full-length since 2022’s Scoring the End of the World.
