Knocked Loose and Pierce the Veil will be cutting loose with headline performances at the next Four Chord Music festival, joining a number of other hardcore, post-hardcore and punk acts for a two-day event in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania later this fall.
The line-up for the next Four Chord was unveiled today (May 7th), and confirmed that Knocked Loose will top the bill at F.N.B. Stadium on September 25th. Other acts set to appear that day include Underoath, Kublai Khan TX, We Came as Romans, Saosin, Superheaven, Counterparts, Haywire, Militarie Gun and more.
Night two takes place September 26th, and Pierce the Veil’s headlining set will be preceded by appearances from Mayday Parade, Boys Like Girls, State Champs, Mom Jeans, Motion City Soundtrack, Cartel, Finch and more.
Notably, a press release adds that the next edition of Four Chord is being staged in Pittsburgh for the first time since 2019.
Fest founder Rishi Bahl also noted that this year the traditionally punky fest homed in on a heavier day one to expand the horizons of Four Chord’s overall sound.
“We wanted to expand the festival’s reach by offering a day of bands that have never played Four Chord before, while still staying true to what helped the festival grow,” he said in a statement. “I think the heavier bands coming to the festival provide a nuance we have never had before. Additionally, the Saturday lineup brings out all of the pop-punk and adjacent genres in new and familiar ways that our patrons love.”
