Kami Kehoe’s on fire this month. After having popped up last week with a symbiotic guest spot on Catch Your Breath’s “[Gen]inside,” the rising rock singer is tackling decidedly unhealthier relationships with a new solo song called “PSYCHO”.
Kehoe’s third solo track of 2026, which follows a cover of Kings of Leon’s “Sex on Fire” and her powerful “HEARTLESS,” is described in a press release as a “feverish, chaotic dive into the obsessive, all-consuming grip of love at its most intense and uncontrollable.”
Whether working auto-tuned raps atop trap booms and nu-crunched guitar rhythms, or a booming vocal on a melodi-rockin’ chorus, she’s working through a hurricane of emotions while contemplating obsessive exes or mulling over regrets and mistakes (“You were the worst one I’ve made”).
“I was in such an angry state of mind while being in a toxic relationship that kept going in circles. Once I cut things off, it still felt like it would never end. They kept reaching out, getting in my head, and showing up places to try to pull me back in,” Kehoe commented of “PSYCHO.”
“At that point, I had to face the fact that they never loved me, they just wanted to control me. Writing ‘PSYCHO’ was how I made sense of it all.”

Kehoe performs tonight (April 24th) at Las Vegas, Nevada’s Fremont Country Club, supporting Chad Gray. She has a couple fest appearances on the books before launching a North American tour alongside Breaking Benjamin, Chevelle and Starset.
