JOHNNY KNOXVILLE announces new ‘JACKASS’ movie out this summer

Jackass Forever, indeed.

Nearly four years on from the last stunt-filled, injury-laden Jackass movie, Johnny Knoxville has confirmed that he and the crew are putting together another feature film installment of the long-running extreme prank film series.

“Well a wang dang and hot damn doodle, we are starting the year off with a bang,” Knoxville wrote on Instagram, in a collaborative post with the official Jackass account and creator Jeff Tremaine’s Gorilla Flicks production company. “We wanted to let you know that this summer Jackass is back!! We will see you in theatres June 26th.”

While the full cast has yet to be revealed, veteran Jackass daredevil and massive metalhead Steve-O hopped into the comments on Knoxville’s IG post to offer a hearty, supportive “Yeah dude!!!”

Details are forthcoming, but the film will be the follow-up to 2022’s Jackass Forever, which included stunts like using someone’s testicles as a punching bag, kissing snakes, and riding the infamous high-speed Vomitron. The movie notably introduced new cast members Zach Holmes, Jasper Dolphin, Sean “Poopies” McInerney, Eric Manaka, and Rachel Wolfson. Outtakes were put together and released as Jackass 4.5 on Netflix.

While a Jackass TV series for Paramount+ had been announced in 2022, that project has yet to surface.
