Swedish metalcore breakouts Imminence continue to celebrate the darkened beauty of their new album, The Black — one of Revolver’s favorite releases of 2024 so far. Following a series of recent European festival dates, the band have now unveiled a stately, symphonic performance of the album’s stunning title track.
The live clip — which Revolver is premiering right here right now — was captured at the Ystads Theater, a regal Swedish venue first built in 1894. The video was filmed from behind the stage, with Imminence turning their backs to an empty venue, which is nevertheless quite a sight to see.
To fit the classical vibe of the room, Imminence dressed up for the occasion, and while violin-toting vocalist Eddie Berg bowed his instrument as per usual, the group also bolstered their regular set-up with a full-blown string quartet and grand piano.
