The Devil Wears Prada are all set to launch their “Metalcore Spring Break” tour today (April 17th), and it turns out the longtime outfit may be testing out some new tunes on the road. Specifically, the group have just issued an anthemic cut called “For You.”
The track is TDWP’s first release since 2024’s acoustic-reimagining Chemical EP, and “For You” continues to twist and contort the veteran act’s sound. Thematically, this latest cut has been described by the band as being about “a love story unraveling through the eyes of someone hopelessly devoted to a partner who can never truly give back.”
They add: “It’s the sound of desperation meeting blind loyalty — a crushing, cinematic anthem for the heartbroken. This is The Devil Wears Prada at our most expansive, with our biggest chorus to date and a fearless step into the next evolution of our sound. We’re not just pushing boundaries—we’re redefining them.”
You can check out the heartfelt themes and anthemic feel of TDWP’s emo-swung and devotional ballad — which nevertheless features a hard-screamed, cranium-kicking breakdown in the bridge —by giving the pastel pink-tinted music video a peep up above.
As previously reported, The Devil Wears Prada’s “Metalcore Spring Break” tour launches tonight at Wichita, Kanasas’ Temple Live venue, and runs til the middle of May. The band will be supported throughout the trip by ERRA, Kingdom of Giants, Acres. You’ll find the show schedule below.
