While Stranger Things star Jamie Campbell Bower (a.k.a. Upside Down villain Vecna) recently revealed that he’d been listening to a lot of Knocked Loose, Counterparts and Architects during the filming of the sci-fi series’ fifth season, it turns out he’s a massive Sleep Token fan, too. For proof, check the actor-musician’s recently revealed cover of the masked outfit’s Take Me Back to Eden ballad, “Euclid.”
Bower uploaded his take on the Sleep Token tune onto his YouTube channel over the weekend, and he plays it rather faithfully, adding soulful vocals above the extended piano intro before the song ramps up the distorted, heart-swelling intensity.
Method acting at its most musical, you can hear Vecna go full-Vessel via the player up above.
As previously reported, Bower premiered his gothically-tinged post-hardcore band BloodMagic in 2024, though to date the group have only delivered debut single “Death / Rebirth.”
Coincidentally, he told Metal Hammer last year that BloodMagic is “a vessel for me to express myself and my beliefs in a way that feels both somewhat familiar and terrifying at the same time.”
As for Sleep Token, the band began teasing plans of some kind last week after launching their showmehowtodanceforever.com website, with fans speculating an album announcement could be on the way in 2025.
Either way, the group’s “next chapter” reportedly begins in the summer across a handful of festival apperances.
