Hear MAGNOLIA PARK’s dystopian nu-metal banger “SHADOW TALK”

Magnolia Park‘s new concept album, VAMP, is due out imminently, and head of the big drop, the band have unleashed the LP’s final pre-release single, “SHADOW TALK.”

Vocalist Joshua Roberts and Co. are leaning hard into their nu-metal and metalcore influences on the record, and that plays out in the latest cut, which opens in a very Linkin Park-esque vein before heading somewhere darker and heavier. The song arrived today (April 9th) accompanied by a horror-themed music video directed by Orie McGinness. Watch and listen above.

“’SHADOW TALK’ is a dystopian anthem about revenge and anger at the world,” the band commented in a joint statement. “It was inspired by our story’s main villain Obsidian and his anger and lust for power over our world of VAMP.”

The album is out this Friday, April 11th via Epitaph Records and available to order on vinyl at Revolver’s shop. Watch Roberts guest on Joel Madden’s Artist Friendly podcast below.
