Hear DON BROCO’s feverish collab with NICKELBACK “Nightmare Tripping”

In a move we couldn’t have foreseen in our wildest dreams, oft-nu-flavored UK quartet Don Broco have unleashed a collaborative track featuring Canadian rockers Nickelback, which they call “Nightmare Tripping”.

Don Broco casually teased the team-up on socials earlier this week, through a pair of pics that found the act palling around with Nickelback guitarist-vocalist Chad Kroeger and guitarist Ryan Peake.

Today (February 12th), they launched the song through a surrealistic music video that flips between shots of Broco vocalist Rob Damiani ripping across roads Lost Highway-style, and the two bands jamming out their song in some kind of decrepit and decimated haunted house. Other co-stars include pill bugs, roaches and a pliably acrobatic ghoul spewing some kind of black goo around the house. Damiani is also digging a shallow grave at some points.

Musically, Don Broco bring a noisecore-jolted groove into the front-end of the cut, wherein Damiani and drummer Matt Donnelly trade-off on screamed-and-sung lines, while Kroeger and Peake handle the arena rock anthemic chorus with signature yowls. Their “Nightmare” also includes a wildly evocative line about blasting John Mayer songs on your iPhone whilst being buried alive beneath a bed of scorpions.

You can sample the madness of “Nightmare Tripping” up above.

Don Broco have yet to officially announce their full-length follow-up to, but the past year has also seen the UK act unleash their “Euphoria,” “Cellophane,” “Hype Man” and “Disappear” singles.
