Imperial Triumphant want you to enter the Pleasuredome.
The masked NYC avant-metal experimentalists have unleashed a new single of that name and brought two famous drummers along for the ride: OG Slayer blast master Dave Lombardo and Meshuggah neck-snapper Tomas Haake. The former contributes drumming to the song while the latter delivers ominous spoken word, as he did on previous Imperial Triumphant single “Lexington Delirium.”
“Journey into sensuality and primal desire, where the flesh becomes a temple, and the hunt for passion unfolds like an ancient ritual,” the band commented in a joint statement. “The ‘bell rings out,’ a summoning call to transcend ordinary pleasures and enter the Pleasuredome, a place where the divine and the animalistic merge.”
“Pleasuredome” appears on Imperial Triumphant’s upcoming new album, Goldstar, which is out March 21st via Century Media. The record also features previously released singles “Hotel Sphinx” and “Eyes of Mars.”
The group will promote the album on the Decibel Magazine Tour alongside Mayhem, Mortiis and New Skeletal Faces. Full itinerary below.
