Back in May, All That Remains unleashed “Divine,” the metalcore pioneers’ first original material since 2018 and the tragic death of their long-time guitar player Oli Herbert. Today (June 13th), vocalist Philip Labonte and Co. are back with another new single, “Let You Go.”
The song has got a heavier Disturbed vibe and packs a monstrous breakdown; it arrived accompanied by a high-octane performance video capturing the group’s current lineup — Labonte, guitarists Jason Richardson and Mike Martin, bassist Matt Deis and drummer Anthony Barone — in action.
“As a lyricist, I find songs about the human condition to be most compelling,” Labonte commented. “‘Let You Go’ is a great example of that. So many can relate to being in a bad relationship that you can’t seem to break out of. Be it with a substance (or with a person) and this song speaks to that struggle so many of us are familiar with.”
All That Remains — who are 100 percent independent right now and releasing all their music via their own label, All That Remains Records — are set to hit the road this summer with Megadeth and Mudvayne on the “Destroy All Enemies” tour. Check the full itinerary here.
