GHOST’s world tour opener: See setlist and photos

Ghost formally kicked off their SKELETÁ-era stage show last night (April 15th) at the AO Arena in Manchester, England, where newly-instated frontman Papa V Perpetua and the band of nameless ghouls gave the UK crowd a 21-song set full of favorites and fresh new rockers.

The occult-rock act’s world tour opener marked their first live performance since the fall of 2023, and they kicked things off with a double-dose of their upcoming SKELETÁ album: they delivered the world premiere of “Peacefield” and then hit their tear-stained metal stomp, “Lachryma.” The night would also feature the live debut of “Satanized” and the unveiling of another SKELETÁ number, “Umbra.”

Papa V Perpetua also sang through the live premiere of “The Future is a Foreign Land,” the Sixties kitschy theme from Ghost’s RITE HERE RITE NOW film project

Rare rites recited included “Spirit,” “Majesty” and “Monstrance Clock” — all of which having not been performed in-concert by Ghost since 2019 — while some of the big hits included “Ritual,” “Year Zero,” “Cirice” and, during the three-song encore, “Mary on a Cross.”

Considering Ghost have put a “no phones” rule in place at their shows, no live footage has surfaced from last night’s event. That said, you’ll find some photos down below, where you’ll likewise discover the setlist from last night’s show.

Ghost’s world tour continues tonight (April 16th) at Glasgow, UK’s OVO Hydro venue. You’ll find the rest of their upcoming show schedule here.

As for SKELETÁ, Ghost’s next album 10- is out April 25th via Loma Vista Recordings, and is available to pre-order in a number of collectible formats. This includes two Revolver-exclusive vinyl variants — which you can order here.
