Ghost are officially back, and they’ve brought their new frontman, Papa V Perpetua, with them.
As promised and rite on time, the occult rockers launched their latest chapter this morning (March 5th) by delivering the previously-teased single “Satanized.” The song will be part of their forthcoming sixth full-length, SKELETÁ.
“Satanized” plays out as a heretically anthemic shuffle, with a press release noting Papa V Perpetua’s vocal debut concerns demonic possessions, someone succumbing to “dark forces,” owning your blasphemy and more (“There is something inside me and they don’t know if there is a cure”).
The tune, which you can check out in the player up above, is likewise being presented through Ghost’s immersive “The Satanizer” video experience. The visual project was developed between the band and Jason Zada (Elf Yourself), and if you upload a photo of yourself, you can be integrated right into the video.

As for SKELETÁ, Ghost’s follow-up to 2022’s Impera is described as the band’s “most unflinchingly introspective work to date,” with the lyricism of the newly instated Perpetua apparently presenting a series of “distinct individual emotional vistas.”
