Evanescence have revealed plans for a massive global tour in 2026 that’ll find Amy Lee and the nu-rock greats bringing Spiritbox, Poppy, Nova Twins and K.Flay along for the ride.
The tour had been teased last month through a handful of semi-cryptic reels on socials, which flashed out the projects’ respective logos and iconography, as well as a few geographical land masses.
Today (December 1st), Evanescence fully confirmed that the trip begins in North America next June, with the tour launch taking place June 11th at West Palm Beach, Florida’s iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre. Spiritbox and UK unit Nova Twins will be supporting all North American dates between then and August.
A quick blast of UK dates pick up in September, which feature Poppy and Amy Lee’s “Fight Like a Girl” collaborator K.Flay in the support slots. The broader European dates feature Poppy and Nova Twins, and then Evanescence head back to the U.S. for a show at Morrison, Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre, which also features K.Flay.
Notably, the tour poster blots out the info for a show on July 18th. Stay tuned.
Pre-sales for all shows begin tomorrow (December 2nd), while general on-sales go live this Friday (December 5th) at 10 a.m. local time. You’ll find more info over on Evanescence’s website.
Speaking with Rolling Stone, Lee noted that that between having “an excellent band beside me” and the rest of the lineup, the trip is “going to be a blast.”
“I’m very excited to be touring with such amazing women and bands. It’s going to be awesome. This has been a big year for me and for the band, when it comes to collaborations and working with people. I’ve loved working with Poppy and Courtney (LaPlante) on the “End of You.” We still haven’t gotten to do it live yet. I’m hoping that comes out of this at some point.
“Same goes for our song with K. Flay, “Fight Like a Girl.” I just kind of want to bring all of us together as much as I can and bring it to life on the stage.”
Lee added that the next Evanescence LP is still in the works, and could be out by early 2026.
“A lot of it’s recorded, some of it’s done and there’s lyrics left on a lot of songs where I have to find that perfect thing to say,” Lee said, while noting a few more lyrics need to be set in place
“Words are always important, but they feel particularly important right now as an artist in the world in our state of turmoil,” she continued. “It feels like an opportunity to put something good into the world, even if it’s just a way for people to relate, to speak about what’s true, and let it out. We need release. I need release.”
