DEVIN TOWNSEND announces first North American headline tour in 5 years

Devin Townsend, metal’s most prolific PowerNerd, is ready to promote his latest album with his first solo headline tour since 2020.

The Canadian metal vet announced an upcoming run of North American tour dates for next spring, which will be in support of his recently-released PowerNerd LP. The trek marks Townsend’s first headline tour in five years, and it kicks off at Nashville, Tennessee’s Marathon Music Works venue on May 2nd.

From there, the tour crosses both sides of the Canadian/U.S. border, and likewise features a stop at next year’s Milwaukee Metal Fest. Supporting Townsend on these dates will be British progressive metal force TesseracT.

Pre-sales begin today (November 19th) at Noon ET, while general on-sales go live on Friday (November 22nd). You can find the full date details down below.

As previously reported, Townsend’s PowerNerd album was issued late last month, and featured a guest spot on its title track from Hatebreed vocalist Jamey Jasta.
