You ready to scream for Bruce Dickinson, North America? Because the iconic Iron Maiden frontman has just unveiled his first full solo tour of the continent in nearly 30 years, to support last year’s highly-conceptual The Mandrake Project album.
A press release confirms that Dickinson and his current band — guitarists Philip Naslund and Chris DeClercq, drummer Dave Moreno, keyboardist Mistheria and bassist Tanya O’Callaghan — are set to hit the U.S. this summer, with a tour-launch taking place at Anaheim, California’s House of Blues.
While Dickinson technically hit Californian audiences with a trio of shows in 2024, the upcoming trek is the first full North American solo tour he’s undertaken since the Nineties. It hits both coasts, includes a couple stops in Canada, briefly bounces down South for a Brazil sidequest, makes pit stops at the Rocklohoma and Louder Than Life festivals, and formally concludes October 5th at the Wiltern in Los Angeles.
You can expect a number of Mandrake Project songs Dickinson has been hitting onstage over the past year, but likewise a few additions.
“Last year we did a couple of sold-out U.S. West Coast dates before heading to South America and the response was just incredible,” Dickinson denoted in a statement.
“This time we will add ‘Shadow of The Gods’ to the setlist for this incredible band to perform plus a few other gems so we are really looking forward to seeing our fans again all over the country and for a couple of shows up in Canada.”
