Longtime hog-cranker BILMURI has entered the world of Fast & Furious fanfic with his latest motor-revvin’ music video — and yet, the visuals behind the country-metalcore mixologist’s new single “HARD2TELL” somehow also manage to get mediaeval on our asses.
The ‘Murica man’s latest song hits his unique aesthetic — think pop-forward hooks, detuned and two-step-inducing breaks, and country-yowling earnestness. Here, BILMURI is found crying on the phone, left all alone to deal with some emotional truths.
The video swerves in a different direction. Filmed in a Columbus, Ohio, parking lot by director Ned Ingalls, it finds a bunch of street racers Midwest Driftin’ their way around BILMURI, who showed up to the shoot in full knight’s armor.
His costume apparently has about as much mobility as Michael Keaton’s Bat-suit, because he’s putting every ounce of his being into picking up a sword someone conveniently left out on the asphalt.
You’ll find the mini-sized, unofficial addition to the Fast & Furious family via the player up above. BILMURI wants to highlight the driving especially and, per an on-screen note, demands we all “give it up for these Chads.”
