Coming in hot off last week’s news that Better Lovers are dropping their first album this fall, the hype-worthy post-hardcore supergroup have added that they’re going to be bringing those songs and more out on the road during a headlining North American tour. Better yet, the Lovers are bringing along friends Full of Hell, Gouge Away and more.
The tour announcement came up through the band’s social media accounts today (August 5th), with Better Lovers explaining that the upcoming run of North American dates is the first part of their “celebratory tour of earth.” The tour begins November 3rd at Asheville, North Carolina’s Orange Peel venue, and will roll coast to coast before wrapping up in the Midwest at Lakewood, Ohio’s Roxy auditorium on December 8th.
Supporting Better Lovers the whole tour through will be Bay Area hardcore speedsters Spy and Midwest hard-gazers Cloakroom, though direct support will also be handled by noisemongers Full of Hell and post-hardcore unit Gouge Away on select dates. You’ll find the full breakdown below.
Tickets for Better Lovers’ upcoming tour go on sale to the general public this Friday (August 9th), though pre-sale info can be found if you text the following number: 716-309-5282. If your town isn’t on the route, Better Lovers have suggested you can also lodge a formal complaint via text.
As previously reported, Better Lovers’ Highly Irresponsible is out October 25 via SharpTone Records, and has been teased so far with the crash-tacular video for first single “A White Horse Covered in Blood.”
