Mark Tremonti may be in the middle of Creed’s reunion tour, but the hard-edged rock guitarist has also got new solo music in the works. Due in early 2025, the next album from his eponymous Tremonti project is called The End Will Show Us How, and he’s taking us to school a little early with a groove-bombed new single called “Just Too Much.”
The track is being presented in a simply-stated new music video that finds Tremonti and the band working through a rather nastily detuned, inverted bend riff in their rehearsal room. Per the press release, the lyrics are all about how you need “to keep pushing forward no matter what adversity is in front of you.”
You can check out the positive-minded hard rock track up above.
The End Will Show Us How marks the first Tremonti LP since 2021’s Marching in Time, and it finds the bandleader working alongside longtime guitarist Eric Friedman, bassist Tanner Keegan and drummer Ryan Bennett.
The record is likewise said to include a track called “Nails” featuring riffs Tremonti has been hanging onto for years, as well as additional inspirational cuts including “Now That I’ve Made It.” The 12-song album is due January 25th via longtime label Napalm Records.
As previously reported, Tremonti is currently out on the road with Scott Stapp and the rest of Creed for their “Summer of ‘99” tour, with the post-grunge group’s reunion tour likewise extending until the end of the year.
