This commissioned artwork for Revolver's DEC/JAN 2020 issue by tattooist and artist Thomas Hooper was originally created with acrylic, ink, enamel and gouache on paper mounted onto birch board and inspired by the lyrics of Nine Inch Nails’ “Into the Void” as “voids, absence, space and loss of form play important roles in my work.” Hooper is known throughout the heavy music community for his mesmerizing work with Mastodon, Converge, Neurosis and much more.
