KORN 'FOLLOW THE LEADER' LP

By their third album, Korn had transformed from freakily subversive nu-metal upstarts into MTV-dominating phenoms. Follow the Leader further projected the Bakersfield five as pied pipers for the developing scene, bashing seven-string hooks and Jonathan Davis’ increasingly onomatopoeic vocal weirdness against feral grooves that got your boogie on. It’s a record that confirmed that Korn were at the front of the nu-metal pack.
