Revolver celebrates Killswitch Engage’s 25th anniversary with a deluxe special collector’s issue! In new, exclusive interviews, the band members tell the story of Killswitch Engage in their own words — from the group’s humble beginnings to the dramatic lineup changes to their rise to the top of the New Wave of American Heavy Metal movement.
Killswitch Engage were a breath of fresh air when they erupted out of the metalcore scene of the early Aughts. The Massachusetts unit’s second full-length built on the promise of their debut album by expertly melding classically-galloped metal melodies with mosh-manic hardcore ferocity and singable choruses primed to hit the stadium circuit.
While it would be the last Killswitch album to feature frontman Jesse Leach for the next decade, the versatile vocalist delivered legacy-defining performances before taking his long hiatus from the band.
This 100-page deluxe magazine is thicker than a standard issue of Revolver, without any ads, features embossed type and UV coating on its covers, as well as rare, all-access photography throughout.
The Killswitch Engage special collector’s issue comes with two alternate, collectible covers — a band cover with photography by Travis Shinn and an illustrated cover by the group’s own bassist and resident visual artist Mike D'Antonio.
In addition to the "Skull" Cover Special Collector's Edition Deluxe Magazine, this bundle includes Killswitch Engage's 2002 album, available now on exclusive “Voodoo”-colored vinyl, and packaged with Revolver’s special collector’s edition magazine on the iconic outfit.
