The Acacia Strain are ringing in the holidays hella heavy. The long-running deathcore outfit have announced they’ll be hosting the second iteration of their “Tune Low Die Slow Ho Ho Ho” Christmastime concert this December, and they’ll be crushing into yuletide carols alongside the likes of Fuming Mouth, Full of Hell, Skinless, Gates to Hell, Jivebomb, Flatwounds and more.
The two-night wintertime mini-fest was confirmed by the Acacia Strain today (August 25th), and it will be held at Albany, New York’s Empire Live venue on December 13th and 14th. Both nights will feature headlining sets from the Acacia Strain.
The Saturday night festivities feature Skinless, Fuming Mouth, Gates to Hell, No Cure, Azshara, Horse Grave, NOIR and Surfaced. The Sunday night show features additional wassailing from heavy acts Full of Hell, On Broken Wings, Jivebomb, Jarhead Fertilizer, Flatwounds, Sunbloc, Evil Mind and Violent Streets.
“Merry TASMAS, Round Two,” vocalist Vincent Bennett said in a statement. “Everyone has an Xmas festival now. Guess what? Next year, we are doing Thanksgiving. Come pit and be merry!”
To paraphrase TAS, will you be safe from God there? Who’s to say, but tickets to both shows go on sale this Friday (August 29th) at 10 a.m. ET. More ticketing details can be found here.
In other news, the Acacia Strain take You Are Safe From God Here — their upcoming 13th full-length — out of the manger and into stores and streamers on October 24th, via Rise Records.
An exclusive vinyl pre-order on limited-edition colored wax is currently available in Revolver‘s shop, along with other Acacia Strain releases.
