Looking to crush some djented-up Tsunami Sea riffs just like Spiritbox guitarist Mike Stringer? Well, the Canadian-born metal hero has just unveiled a new signature line of guitars through Aristides to help you accomplish just that.
Teased at this year’s NAMM guitar convention and formally announced today (March 26th), Stringer’s new STX Collection through the Dutch guitar company arrives in 6, 7 and 8-string models, and likewise in both standard and multiscale fretboard options.
The collaboration follows Stringer’s decade-long fandom of Aristides guitars, and while he has also slung custom Surfcasters for Fender over the years, the STX is the guitarist’s first-ever signature model.
“I first started playing Aristides guitars in 2015, and their instruments have shaped the overall sound of my band, our recordings, and my playing,” Stringer said in a statement, adding, “My entire career, I’ve been trying to find the instrument that covers all the ground I need, and we’ve accomplished this with the STX. I cannot wait for guitarists to get their hands on one!”
“Mike has been a key part of Aristides for over a decade,” Aristides CEO Pascal Langelaar, added. “His ideas and feedback have shaped many of our innovations, and it’s a proud moment for us to launch our very first official artist collaboration line of guitars with someone who’s been such an important part of our journey.”
The STX touts an “ergonomic offset body shape, created for comfort and extended fretboard access in both seated and standing positions.”
Its features include EverTune and tremolo bridge options, it can be painted in “200 finish options,” and you can likewise customize an axe with “Spiritbox-themed inlays, a pickguard choice, a newly designed in-line headstock for straight scale models,” and more.

As for Spiritbox, the band are due to begin their big North American headline tour April 3rd at Dallas, Texas’ South Side Ballroom. The 24-stop tour finds them joined by Loathe and Dying Wish. You can find the full itinerary here.
