While Spineshank revealed earlier this year that they’d be reuniting on the festival circuit, the cult nu-dustrial group will now also be hitting clubs this summer on a joint tour with Texan nu-groove crew the Union Underground.
Spineshank teased a forthcoming announcement through their socials earlier this week, and officially confirmed today (March 5 th) that they’ll be hitting the road with the Union Underground to celebrate “25 years of Rebellion & Callousness.” This, of course, references the anniversaries of Spineshank’s The Height of Callousness record, and the Union Underground’s …An Education in Rebellion. Accordingly, both bands will be playing those albums in full.
The 15-show club tour — which will be Spineshank’s first since 2012 — kicks of July 10th at Austin, Texas’ Come and Take It Live venue, heads out to the Midwest, and formally caps August 1st at Colorado Springs, Colorado’s Black Sheep. All dates will feature support from Adema and Sicksense.
“It’s amazing that 25 years later people still react to The Height of Callousness the way they do,” Spineshank bassist Rob Garcia had said in a statement when they’d first announced their reunion in January. “We’re excited to get out and play these songs again, see old friends, and threw down for all the new fans who never got to see Spineshank the first time around!”
As previously reported, Spineshank’s 2025 lineup features original members Jonny Santos, Rob Garcia and Tommy Decker, along with new recruits Tommy Decker, Jr. and Jason Hager.
