Hype for next year’s Sonic Temple Art & Music Festival continues to build, with the long-running music event having just unveiled another round of artists set to rock Columbus, Ohio, in 2025. In addition to Metallica‘s two-night Sonic Temple debut, you can now add the likes of Killswitch Engage, Trivium, Power Trip, Testament and more to the roster.
Altogether, a press release has confirmed nine more acts for the still-building Sonic Temple lineup. Between May 8th-11th, you can also now expect to find I Prevail, Hollywood Undead, Citizen Soldier, Chevelle and shock-rock legend Alice Cooper performing at Columbus’ Historic Crew Stadium.
This is, of course, in addition to Metallica’s headlining spot on May 9th, which will feature direct support from horror-rock icon Rob Zombie, and then again on the 11th, with that fest-closing set being preceded by a performance from Alice in Chains.
Sonic Temple is expected to book more than 100 bands between now and launch, with a new event poster nothing that there are “two more headliners to be announced.” Stay tuned!
The Sonic Temple grounds will likewise include both a Metallica-themed BLACKENED Whiskey Bar and a BLACKENED Burger Bar, with the latter’s menu having been created between the BLACKENED Whiskey team, celebrity chef Chris Santos and Metallica.
