Slayer will reign supreme this year at a pair of shows celebrating the 40th anniversary of their iconic Reign in Blood.
Slayer kicked off the work week teasing the announcement with a couple of Reign-centric socials posts, but formally confirmed today (April 21st) that they’ll be hitting Shakopee, Minnesota’s Mystic Lake Amphitheater on September 4th, and Inglewood, California’s Kia Forum on November 13 — the latter marking their first L.A.-area show since 2019. Both concerts will find Slayer performing 1986’s Reign in Blood in-full.
The Minnesota show will feature opening sets from Down, Suicidal Tendencies and Hatebreed, while the Cali-staged chaos includes support from Cannibal Corpse, Cavalera and Crowbar.

Of course, these aren’t the only Slayer sets happening this year. The band was recently confirmed as one of the headliners at Rocklahoma. They’re closing things out at Pryor, Oklahoma’s Rockin Red Dirt Ranch, with the September 6th appearance also set to be a celebration of Reign in Blood.
