Slayer are coming back to the East Coast! Today (April 7th), the thrash titans announced a one-night-only show at Hershey, Pennsylvania’s Hersheypark Stadium on Saturday, September 20th — which will be their only East Coast concert of 2025 and their first since returning to the stage last year.
Even better, the show will find Slayer supported by a massive, multi-generational lineup including Cavalera exclusively playing Sepultura’s Chaos A.D. and Exodus playing their classic debut, Bonded by Blood, plus Knocked Loose, Suicidal Tendencies and Power Trip.
Additionally, the event will be hosted by WWE Superstar and lifelong metalhead Damian Priest. The pro-wrestler’s signature “finisher” is Slayer’s “South of Heaven,”and Slayer’s Kerry King provided guitar for Priest’s “Rise for the Night” Theme.
“Slayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyeeeeerrrrrr!!!!!!” Tom Araya enthused of the show. “One night only, stacked lineup, it’s going to be fucking sick!!!! Hersheypark – be there… if not, you’re either dead, in jail or a sissy!!!!!”
Kerry King added, “Last year, Slayer played only two shows, and those shows affected me like playing The Big 4 shows did. When we played our first show last year in Chicago, I figured it was going to be great for the fans, maybe there would be some people who had never seen us play before, but the reaction was just completely overwhelming. The fans reacted to us like I’d expect them to react to the biggest band on the planet. It was amazing. So for the Hershey concert, we’ll play a Slayer show, we’ll have all of our big fire effects, and just burn everything like we used to.”
Ticket pre-sales will be available beginning tomorrow, Tuesday, April 8th at 10 a.m. ET, ahead of the general on-sale set for Friday, April 11th starting at 10 a.m. ET. All tickets can be purchased at Slayer.net. Doors are at 3 p.m. ET and the show kicks off at 4 p.m. ET.
