Slaughter to Prevail frontman Alex Terrible launched his new Blood4Blood fighting promotion in Florida last night (May 6th), delivering a knockout performance with his band ahead of being defeated in the ring during his bare-knuckle boxing bout with Cameron “The Bull” Delano.
As previously reported, the inaugural B4B event was staged at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida, and had been billed as “a heavy metal concert with intersecting bare-knuckle fighting.” Sure enough, both sides of this were repped heavy, with the night bouncing back and forth between bare-knuckle bouts and sets from Chained Saint, Slaughter to Prevail, Malevolence, Crowbar and Black Label Society.
Though Terrible and STP put on a dominant display through a four-song performance that included battle anthems “Viking” and “Demolisher,” the deathcore grizzly suffered defeat against Delano. Their match went three rounds, Terrible absorbing a number of brutal blows and knockdowns before the ref called the fight in the third.
“A lot of people say I’m tough, [but] I’m not tough. I’m scared literally of everything, but I try to fight my fears. This is why I do this shit,” a bloodied Terrible told the crowd after the match. Nevertheless, he was excited that folks came out to see the music-and-fighting event, which was put on jointly by the vocalist, the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) and music fest promotion company Danny Wimmer Presents (Aftershock, Louder Than Life, Sonic Temple).
“I lost my fucking fight. I feel sad, but at the same time I feel fucking amazing, because I love to fight,” Terrible later said on socials, hinting that despite the loss, this is “just the beginning” for B4B. “I think it was a good show — at least, we [STP] put a good show.”

Details on the next B4B event have yet to arrive, though a caption on an official IG post from the promotion reads “Same time next year?”
