From the airwaves to the stage, SiriusXM’s Octane is launching a new live event series, dubbed the “Headbangers Happy Hour,” hosted by the station’s own Jose “Metal Ambassador” Mangin. The debut installment is set to feature a performance from Flat Black (the new band led by former Five Finger Death Punch guitarist Jason Hook) and an appearance by heavy horror heads Ice Nine Kills, as well as other surprise guests.
The kickoff Headbangers Happy Hour will go down at The Bourbon Room in Los Angeles, California, on November 22nd. The goal is to bring the Octane channel’s “on-air headbanging energy to life” though the recurring events, which will likewise be broadcast live on SiriusXM. In-person fans can show up to see the exclusive Flat Black performance — but get there early because entry will be determined on a “first come first serve” basis.

It’s unconfirmed exactly what role INK will play in the live Octane event, but it should be noted that Mangin is a massive fan, and he made on a memorable cameo in the band’s recent hyper-gory music video for their Terrifier homage “A Work of Art.” You can revisit Mangin’s guest turn below.
