The highly anticipated 2025 edition of Las Vegas festival Sick New World has been canceled.
Organizers announced the cancellation in a statement, writing: “It is with great disappointment that we announce that Sick New World will no longer take place in Las Vegas on April 12, 2025.
“Despite our best efforts, we’ve encountered unforeseen circumstances that we are unable to overcome for next year’s show. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the dedicated SNW fans who had made plans to join us for another cultural celebration of hard rock, goth, alternative and heavy music. Please stay tuned for further and future information regarding Sick New World.
“Tickets purchased directly from Font Gate Tickets will be automatically refunded to the original method of payment in as little as 30 days.”
The festival’s 2025 lineup was to have been headlined by Metallica and Linkin Park atop a hard-hitting lineup including Queens of the Stone Age, AFI, Ministry, the Sisters of Mercy, Gojira, Glassjaw, Meshuggah, Melvins, Testament, Mastodon, Cannibal Corpse, Refused, Terror, Poison the Well, Exodus, Quicksand, Sponge, Scowl, Show Me the Body, Napalm Death, Three Days Grace and more.
Sick New World was also the first show Acid Bath announced since their 1997 breakup and the first Tomahawk show in over 10 years. See the lineup below.
