They finally went hard in the paint in-concert. Following their studio collaborations, Spiritbox vocalist Courtney LaPlante hit the stage with rapper Megan Thee Stallion this weekend at Coachella for a fiery first-ever tag-team live performance of their “TYG.”
The Sunday night (April 13th) guest spot took place a few songs into Megan Thee Stallion’s main stage performance at Coachella, with the metalcore vocalist joining the rapper on-stage to deliver a bunch of supportive screams during “TYG.” A bunch of yeti-looking backup dancers did their thing, while Thee Stallion also did the splits.
The night also marked LaPlante’s debut appearance at the celebrated music festival. It’s unclear if the singer will make it back for a repeat performance during Thee Stallion’s set at next weekend’s Coachella, though there’s notably a gap in Spiritbox’s tour schedule next Sunday (April 20th).
Megan Thee Stallion’s set also featured guest appearances from Queen Latifah and Victoria Monét and Ciara. That said, it’s the Spiritbox-centric footage you’ll find down below.
